Emergency Foster Home Needed - Within two days!!! Empty Emergency Foster Home Needed - Within two days!!!

Post by EmmaSemple Fri Nov 21, 2008 10:54 am

We have a Staffie x who was adopted about two weeks ago of about 18 months old.
She has got a fabulous temprement, is good with kids, great with people, calm on the lead, playful when you want her to be and has all basic commands in place.
She isn't that great with other dogs, but to overcome that is perfectly crate trained to the point that if you tell her to 'Go to Bed' then she will walk into the crate and sit and wait for you close the door! Her crate will be provided with her.
Her one downfall is that she chews things when out of the crate. As with any dog that chews, if you keep an eye on her and encourage her to chew the right things then she is fine, but her new owners won't put up with a dog that chews and want her removed asap.
I am looking for someone who can look after her for a short while whilst I get her a home who will see her through this stage.
She is fully vaxed, spayed and chipped.
If anyone can help please contact me asap.

This can now be closed. :)
The owners have taken training advice and are going to try their hardest to get through her problems.

Ah that's great Emma, at least they are giving it a try. Most dogs chew as pupppies as you know and they just need to learn to stop it by training.

Good on the new owners!
