Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right section to put this in, but I'll put it here anyway, as it is rescue related.

In October this year, I'm running the Great North Run and (3 weeks later) the Great South Run. As I had my own places in these events rather than charity sponsored places, I have decided that I will use this events to raise money for Staffies in Need. I'm sure that you're all aware of the good work that these guys do, but please check out their website if you want more information.

I'm running 23.2 miles in total to raise money for this great cause, so please give as generously as you can - the smallest amount will really make a big difference - my online sponsorship page can be found here:

Thanks

We just wanted to say thankyou to those of you who have already sponsored Amy, and those of you who have said you will. Staffies In Need is funded entirely by donations and whatever we are able to raise through car boot sales etc.

So, once again, thankyou to Amy for being mad enough to do this on behalf of Staffies In Need, and thankyou to those of you who are supporting her.

Thank you! Fundraising 5408

I'm running around like crazy! Have also just invested in a jogging lead, so am going to try and take Murdoch out with me, but only once it's gotten a little cooler - the past few days have been far too hot

Hello everyone, just a quick note. The first of my two runs (the Great North Run) is on Sunday, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has sponsored me so far. My current fundraising total is £140, so far, so good! My online sponsorship page is still open, so please feel free to sponsor me if you've got a spare couple of quid - as you know, Staffies in Need do great work, and every penny helps them continue that work.

Thanks

Amy

One down, one to go!

I completed the Great North Run on Sunday in a time of 2hrs, 15mins and 14secs, which I'm really pleased with! I'm also really pleased that my fundraising total has now reached £160, which should help Staffies in Need continue the good work they are doing. And it's not over yet! Just 2.5 weeks to go till the Great South Run, so there's still time to sponsor me if you'd like to.

Oh, and here is a picture of Murdoch and I looking happy and proud in t-shirt and medal!
