New Year's Resolutions Empty New Year's Resolutions

Post by howlinmadmurdoch Mon Dec 29, 2008 6:23 am

Are you all making any this year? One of mine is to make sure that I walk Murdoch morning and evening - all too often his evening walk doesn't happen as I collapse on the sofa after work! And in the winter months we only walk for half an hour in the mornings so I want to make sure that he's getting enough exercise.
Other than that it's to stick to my walking and running training. I'm doing my first marathon next year as well as the Oxfam Trailwalker - a 100k walk over the South Downs Way from Petersfield to Brighton. So pleased to be doing that as it's something that Murdoch can help me train for - he's not much good at the running!

Every year I make the same one - to get out more and meet a man (a decent one! lol) but don't think I'll bother this year. Lily's evening walk has disappeared these last few weeks so I too must make more of an effort. Good luck with the marathon.

this sounds bad but mine is to try say no to my wee boy some times as he has me wrapped aound his little finger..when im in a shop and if he see something that he would like and i say no to him he has started crying, hitting and shouting and wont stop til i buy it and it works every time as i do give in and buy it just to keep him quite but now he has started school and if things dont go his way he has started the same stuff crying & shouting.all i have done is turn him into a spoit S**t.and he is only 4 so that is mine to say NO and mean it..
