Lamb's Hearts

Well - I went to the butchers the weekend and felt bad getting loads of lovely meat for us and nothing for Jadie so i got some lambs hearts for the first time. Wasn't sure if she'd like em cos shes a funny little moo at the best of times!
Slapped all 4 hearts into a pot and boiled em up (the OH wasn't impressed!!!) When they were cooked I turned the stove off and started cutting them up when I heard those familiar piggy snorts behind me!!! She stood patiently waiting and snorting like a good un to make sure I hadn't forgot about her then flew across the living room to where her bowl goes when I'd finished!! I have never seen my girl eat like she ate those hearts!!!! She wolfed the lot straight away then sat licking her lips for an hour afterwards!!!!

I can just picture what she would've looked like and how she snorted!

I've never tried them with my girls, but Angelbella is blooming allergic to lamb apparently so I couldn't give Yazmin without her. Can't even get her some lovely red meat as she's allergic to beef too.

I feed Dudley on hearts, kidney and liver amongst other things. He loves it. I occasionally give it to him raw and that is even better. He just switches to hoover mode!
