Jade's Vet Bill!
Jade is overdue at the vets and I HAVE TO take her on Saturday morning!
This is the list I need to remember!!
- Nails clipped
- Worming tablet
- Weighed
- I think her ear infection is on the way back
- Leaky and smelly lady bits / anal glands
- Stiffness in joints after excercise
Bearing in mind that theres a £18 charge as soon as you walk in the room I think I'll need a small bank loan to pay the bill!!! :lol!:

Vets are so expensive but i have to say my new vet is rather good at prices even al though its still a expensive job taken them
The vet i used to take them to only charged me 4 pounds 50 for nail clipping and nout for consoltation fee
but now i do it my self

We took Kane in for an ear infection that I suspected was yeast infection, and I was right, but we left there with a £70 bill. I don't get the vet to do nails. Kane is a bleeder when it comes to nail clipping so now I use a rotary tool and grind them down as he sleeps on his back the whole while.

Re: Jade's Vet Bill!
Our vet is really good, they charge $10 for Bonnie nails and max just drags his feet so they dont need clipping. We had to get prices for vaccinations and desexing etc for kittens the other day and I was suprised about how reasonably priced they are.

Re: Jade's Vet Bill!
I couldn't go in the end which I'm not happy about!!
My OH was out getting his new car on Saturday which has completely broke the bank!!! I went to PAH instead and got her some eardrops and Pedigree Joint care to keep her going until I can take her to the vets at the end of the month! Still cost me over £20 though!!!
Anyone got any ideas if that pedigree joint care stuff is any good - its expensive enough!!!

Re: Jade's Vet Bill!
For her joints have you considered looking into glucosamine & condroitin from Holland & Barratts? If you have a look on the net I'm sure you will find a site that has a breakdown of the dosage for a dog and then you can work out if it might be cheaper that way. They always have those big sales on and you can stock up during the sales. Thats what I do with Kanes flaxseed oil caps, I spend a total of I think £10 and he's good for the year.
