Animal Cops

Does anyone watch the Animal Cops series? They are on Animal Planet and I'm addicted to them - got them on series link so I don't miss them!

Theres a hell of a lot of pit bulls on there that have been mistreated or involved in dog fighting - its heartbreaking to see them.xx

I love them aswell, just watched Animal Cops Houston, what a state most of the animals were today, a poor boxer had to be PTS today cause it was so thin but luckily it's pup survived. I've noticved it's nearly all pits that are on there, it's unbelievable how badly mistreated the animals are it break my heart especially when most of them have to get PTS

I watched one yesterday and they rumbled a guy that was holding fights in his basement. There was blood everywhere and his dogs were COVERED in scars and really skinny. There was even a puppy that had been used as a bait dog.

They all seemed so friendly and they all had to be PTS as they can't risk re-homing them. 9 times out of 10 I'll be sitting there blubbering like an idiot!!

I've done that many times Claire, I sometimes think that more should be done to the owners of the animals, sometimes they get off with just a warning once their animals have been taken off them, what good does that do.

It's a shame half of the dogs canny be rehomed, most of them are so friendly aswell but it's too much of a chance to take

I think I've seen every episode now, and yes, I blubber thru most of them too.

Couldnt cope watching it, i'm a bloody mess with things like that.

i know what i would like to do to people that cause this
and it aint pleasant

i know what u mean kerri - i can watch anything on the tv and i'm fine - put somethin on about cruelty to animals and i get upset.
