At what age do dogs usually starting cocking their leg when doing a wee. My friend has a nine month old jack russell who still squats like a girl!

Jake started around 9 months which is early I think but every lamp post every tree every bin he must sent his mark

Kane was around 11 months when he started. Mind he's a lazy bugger so quite often he will still squat when he can't be bothered to balance on 3 legs.

Mista was about 12 months i think but sometimes he will still squat when he is in the garden.

It varies with every dog. I woulden't be worried but glad as when they start cocking it can get on your nerves. lol

Not quite the same for a Staffie i know, but my Bullmastiff is 2 and he still doesn't cock his leg to pee. When we're out walking he'll cock his leg at every lampost to mark but when it comes to doing a proper wee he squats...the big girl

god diesel is nearly 2 and still only cocks his leg every now and then...he always squat still
