Those with a higher prey instinct tend to do this. It can be a dead animal or a pile of poo... they basically try to cover their own scent which gives them a better chance of getting close to prey without being detected.

We have a pond and regularly have a frog or 2 die on the grass beside it and Kane will roll on them as well as anything with fox scent on it or a dead bird. Haven't come across anything else dead but I'm sure he would roll in anything dead.

Yazmin only rolls on her back when she's wanting Angel to play with her lol Its like "look at me, I'm all submissive" then when Angel comes over Yazmin pounces on her & they start wrestling lol Angel falls for it every time lol
But no they have never rolled on anything dead, but then they haven't actually been around anything dead though.

Its mainly rabbitts that they roll on that foxes have left up the field where they are walked. It could be at the opposite side of the field and they will run at full pelt to roll in it Rolling 604305

Murdoch rolls - mainly on my bed, mainly after we get back from a walk. He makes a whole range of funny noises when he does it too. He sounds a little bit like a wookie, but slightly higher pitched. Not sure what it means, but I think he sounds happy!
