CRISIS POINT: 2 die tomorrow morning (yorkshire pound) - URGENT

Today the point was reached which everyone had been dreading. DOGSOS currently have over 100 dogs in boarding (temporary and longer term) and are so low on funds that for the first time in four years they cannot take on any more if others rescues don't help by providing spaces for these or existing dogs or funds are forthcoming for paying boarding.

Another PTS has just come in. Two dogs in another Yorkshire pound therefore have less than a day to live unless other rescues rally round.

One is a one year old staffy cross girl and the other a full staffy male 5 years old. Both are described by the pound as very nice dogs.

Pictures have been requested but not yet in but wanted to get this appeal up and running as quickly as possible.

This pound will NOT give an extension on the destruction date but WILL continue to board the dogs for any rescue who is prepared to take them under their wing. Boarding is quoted as £5 a night.

PLEASE DON'T LET THESE DOGS DIE. BUY A DOG A DAY.

DOGSOS has always taken in the death row poundies that no one else wanted but the sheer numbers involved over recent weeks has caused this crisis.

The staffy cross girl who was called Tess was saved. The rescue organisation Everythingpets has taken her for rehoming in Notttinghamshire.

Due to some very kind people who donated kennel fees the boy was also saved from destruction but is still at the pound and desperately needs someone to get him out.
He hates the kennels and is going stir crazy.
