I have just been notified of the following two.

Again, I am desperate to place these two as their time has expired and, although the kennels tries its best to keep them for as long as possible, the Council will not fund their stay indefinitely.

White/Brindle Lab/Staffie X Male, entire. 4 years+

Good bodily condition Time expired 14.7.08

Good with people/dogs – ignores cats Not interested in treats/balls !!

Likes squeaky toys Seems to know sit only – v nice temperament.

Needs a bit of training.

Dark Brindle/White Staffie, Male, Entire. 1 year +

Good bodily condition Time expires 15.7.08

Good with people – ignores cats . Unsure how good he is with other dogs – untested as many bitches in season here and can’t get a true picture how he is with Males/Females

Quite well trained – likes treats – ignores a ball. Chases his tail a bit

Knows Sit, down, gives paw and speaks for a treat !! Nice boy

Not yet. Jennie (Mikka) is following up some possible interest in the white/brindle boy and is trying to find some interest in the brindle boy. There is a lady called Sue in Shropshire who expressed interest in the white/brindle boy, but I have not heard further. Kirsty has people interested in both but we are experiencing difficulties with another rescue in Scotland who do not know Kirsty. I am hoping this can be resolved.

i can understand that but its getting nipping now as im doing my best to try find homes for these dogs and then people are trying to find out about myself.i dont have nothing to hide but at the end of the day its not about us its about these dogs and its like people dont trust me or where the dogs are going and ill dogs are in loving homes getting the love they deserve...whats so bad about that?

so were they checked before the dogs were put into the homes and were the dogs assessed? I fear not in light of what's happened to one of the dogs.

at the present time I am sure he is in fine health, the SSPCA are powerless to take the dog off him not quite the same as "they see no reason why....."perhaps you should tell everyone who you gave the doberman too and why the SSPCA are involved?

Dealing in dogs is a very lucrative business for this chap so am sure when the time comes the doberman will make plenty of money for him.

not half as sad as the dobermans life, who knows where he will end up.

I dont understand your comment , why must i have a sad life for answering the post above mine ?

The very fact that you have to ask whats wrong with advertising on Gumtree speaks volumes .

Oh and if you have to quote the guy from the SSPCA try at least to say it word for word as Tashbash said in her post " the SSPCA are powerless to take the dog off him is not quite the same as "they see no reason why"
