Staffie cross - Urgently Needs Help! Empty Staffie cross - Urgently Needs Help!

Post by EmmaSemple Tue Nov 11, 2008 10:12 am

I have been made aware of Bud who is a 10 month old entire Staffie cross who is being badly treated in his home. I have been trying to convince his owner to part with the dog for a long while (about three months) and finally when he agrees I have Snowflake here who is currently using the dog crate whilst I socialise her and retrain her. This is going to take months as she is an abuse case. The owner has cruel ideas about training his dog and uses the choke chain to whip him into shape. He also regularly beats him. He never wanted a dog in the first place and if I can get Bud moved then he will not be getting anymore dogs. I am only able to get hold of this dog through a third person so I can't even report him because I don't know the correct address. At the moment his temprement is ok, but this is going to get steadily worse as he gets older especally because if he does manage to find someone to take him, he really isn't worried where he goes so could send him somewhere worse than he is already. He knows some very unsavoury people and I am genuinally worried what is going to become of this dog. He can live with other dogs with careful intros (bitches only), is good with kids and has a nutty nature (hence why the man uses the choke chain on him) but would probably not pass a cat test. If anyone can help please contact me asap. Emma

Good news. :)
I have just had an offer of Bud's kennel being sponsored so he will be coming into kennels and taken out of that situation as soon as possible.
