Just wondering how many of our dogs are dog aggressive. Roxy has always be fine but she can be quick sometimes to say I've had enough of you now if she is on the lead, because of this I am always slighly wary. Just wondered what other peoples experiences are. :flower:

I have never seen Jade turn on a human - shes a big softy and will be bezzie mates with anyone that shows her some attention!
She is aggressive with some dogs and I've seen her get so close to biting a couple of dog's noses off! Shes generally fine until they start sniffing around her bum - shes very selective with who she allows to have a sniff!

Max is very agressive when his protecting, like when the dodgy insurance electrician came over to do some insurance work he was cornering him and growling, he also had his previous owners father-in-law rounded up in a corner for 3 hours until the owners got home so that sort of leaves things open to the imagination. But other than that him and Bonnie are sweet little angels (excluding when they are digging holes and tearing apart things)! ;)

Mista is fine with other dogs but let them know when hes fed up. Missy only has to see another dog and she starts growling- i think she thinks if she gets in first it wont bother her (she was attacked by a staffie cross when she was just a pup in the street!!)

Missy has bit Adam (my OH) but he was trying to split her and her sister up when they was fighting and Mista has as well but again went to pick the stick up at the same time as Mista, never bit me though or anyone else.

Kane thinks all animals are there for him to play with. He gets so wound up and rolls on his back under them and everything. He has been attacked by a few dogs and I guess, from hearing stories from others, that I'm pretty lucky he has no ill feelings about this and still loves everything that walks.

Tasha is very intolerant of any other dog  -she won't let them within 10 foot of her before she is on her guard -any closer and she lets rip, snarling etc -she is worse when I am walking her, but she is very protective of me.
When somone else walks her she is very wary but not so nasty!! She is only let of the lead when there are no other dogs around. We have tried over and over again to get her used to my brothers beagle but she will only tolerate her if they are both on leads and at least 5 foot apart -then she ignores her.

As for people, she thinks she is one! If I tell my lad off (he's 14) she does too, but again she's just looking after me. (He's taller than me!)
She is fantastic with kids, my youngest niece Abbie is almost 5, Tasha is 6 1/2 so they've been pals since Abbie was born, she can do anything she likes and Tasha will let her -one of the first words Abbie ever said was Tasha!!!
Take care

Rocco is great with people, thinks everybody is his friend, his best friends in the world are my 2 sons (4 & 7). Rocco is bad with most male dogs although he will ignore them now and is ok with some females, the reason he is bad with other dogs is because he has been attacked 3 times, the third was quite bad, 2 bernese mountain dogs chewed him up and since then he has been bad with most dogs.

Murdoch LOVES people, with the notable exception of the man that delivers the newspapers in my village - he used to like him fine, but recently started barking / growling whenever he sees the man.

Murdoch wasn't well socialised when he was little and doesn't seem to know how to react to other dogs. I think it's usually a fear reaction (born out of confusion) which can quickly escalate into agression if I don't move on swiftly. As a result, Murdoch never gets let off the lead. At least part of that is that I don't have enough trust that he won't run off and bite another dog. We're working on it...........
