Re: is your post man ok with staffies
We don't have a front garden, just a drive so Jade doesn't play out the front. When the gas man or takeaway delivery man comes though they are generally frightened of her. The last time a guy came to read the meter he refused point blank to come in until Jade was put in the garden! How can anyone be frightened of a dopey dog with 2 multicoloured balls sticking out of her gob??!!

Haven't had that prob as yet but if and when I do I'm sure I would be quick to comment on how they are one of THOSE kind of people that lack the intelligence to come to their own conclusions, preferring to be like the rest of the cattle that follow the leader without question.

Maddie jumps up door and barks when postman comes so sure if she in front garden he would be scarred but she soft as long as she sees i'm safe if a stranger comes to house she'll fuss them. Don't know what she'd do if a robber came prob lick them too

Haven't come across that scenario as yet...We tend to not let ours out front as there is a hole in our next door neighbours hedge that they can get out through. I don't think there would be any probs though at present because they are still puppies but ya just never know how far people's ignorance goes I guess...

Lily doesn't even bother getting off the sofa when the postman or anyone else knocks at the door! When I answer the door she'll get off then and will jump up for attention. Everyone so far has made a great fuss of her and I've encountered no problems. There are a lot of staffies in my area though so I guess everyone is just used to them.

Re: is your post man ok with staffies
I don't have a garden as I am in a flat and I always put the dogs in the kitchen whilst I answer the front door...that way i know they can't slip out the front door.
So, I can't really say...but they do love everyone else they meet! lol

Bonnie and Max are not able to get into the front yard we are planning on building a nice high brick rendered fence in the future with a gate so we can have them run out there too but not yet..
