How often do you wash your dogs?

I only do Roxy when 100% necessary (i.e. she stinks!! ). My bosses wife washes hers with human shampoo everyday. It drives me nuts. I have tried to explain why this is not a good thing but she looks at me like I'm a moron. She seems to care more about getting off her butt and cleaning the house than the best interests of her dog.

I think I have probably only bathed Jadey 5/6 times since I've had her (17 months) and that was only because she'd been diving in the lake after the swans!!

She smells nicer than me half of the time and doesn't need to be washed often.

I use PAH Grooming Wipes and baby wipes if she needs a freshen up but as I said - its rare she smells like a dog!!

only was mine when they need it if they are covered from head to foot in mud or when stink to high hell

Only do Kane when necessary...eg. when he rolls in fox poo or gets covered in mud. Other than that he gets 1 a couple days before a show.

I only wash Tess when it's necessary, she's never needed to be washed up to now and she still smelly lovley

I've washed mine about three times in 3 months? It was because they were stinky tho as in being puppies they piddled on themselves and walked in their poop. That's a good question actually...Would once a month be too much even? Or what is recommended?

Washing the dog too often takes away the natural oils in their coats, its recommended that you only wash when absolutely necessary. You can buy wipes from pet stores just to take off the worst of the mess hun x

I try not to wash them to often but having a wwhite dog isnt easy.......lol. Probably need to wash about every 3 weeks. Having to wash them weekly at the moment due to a skin problem.
